Understanding Paint, Stains and Finishes

Understanding how to maintain your drywall, paint, flooring, and trim.

The finishes inside your home, like drywall, paint, flooring, and trim, are designed to be durable and long-lasting. Interior paint and stains may show signs of wear, fading, or blemishes over time due to normal use and environmental exposure within the home. Common issues include scuffs, marks, or minor discoloration from furniture, cleaning products, moisture, or sun exposure. Stains can also result from spills, cooking residue, or everyday contact—particularly in high-traffic areas like kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms. You will be provided with a Paint Voucher at time of settlement.
