How-To: Change Your HVAC Air Filter (No Tools Required!)
- Locate the Filter
- Find the filter access door on your air handler or near the return duct.
- Turn Off the System (If Possible)
- It’s not required, but it’s safer and easier.
- Remove the Old Filter
- If it looks dusty or gray, it’s time for a change.
- Insert the New Filter
- Arrow on filter = direction of airflow (into the unit). Slide it in snugly.
